Monarch Caterpillars

I had only partial success with my monarchs. I had plenty of larvae and some were huge.

 

Hurricane Dorian changed everything though and I did not see another caterpillar after that.

Mary MacADNski: Today our CBC gave away hundred of trees to islanders who lost trees. I got three after the last hurricane sixteen years ago. I did not get up early enough for this time.

Quite a viscous little storm then.
Mary MacADNski: Just yesterday, the trail system in the National Park at Cavendish opened. Hurricanes are severe on the old trees and forests. Clean up is still going on.
You still managed to get some fine photos though Mary.

Oh too bad.... I hope maybe they just got swept away and were able to continue elsewhere...
