Wednesday Walk on the Beach

Rounding bends and getting your feet wet are a delightful part of walking the beach. Those who do not want to take off shoes have to wait on the tides.

Soon it will be an island...will it be Maryland?
Care MacADNski: Eventually everyone can say they once had shoreland.
... or they may prefer drying off their shoes thoroughly later. i like the top shot very much.
Care MacADNski: Yes, you have to accept something, feet or shoes, will get wet on some beaches.
Love your shots of the red rocks and soil!
And Keb Mo is terrific - as always!
Care MacADNski: The shots were from a delightful beach day.
I love Keb Mo!
Meant to add... these "round the world concerts are amazing" !
Care MacADNski: Yes, they are very good. Other channels do similar things like NPR and CBC, all on YouTube.
Right about the beach, and a great video !
Care MacADNski: Walking Blues is one of my very favorite old blues song. Seemed appropriate here.

Those cliffs are eroding fast
Care MacADNski: Several meters per year at some places.

I would paddle with you, Mary
Care MacADNski: Paddling and kayaking are very popular here.

You can feel the erosion.
Care MacADNski: It is a scary situation really. I bought beach front in the early 70's but I chose my lots to be the furthest and highest from the edge.
Given the chance I would happily paddle along that lovely beach, I wonder how much longer that pat in the top picture will last.
Care MacADNski: We will go back next year, Brian. I hope.

I guess the water is as warm as it will be for the year now so hopefully not so numbingly cold as it would have been early in the summer.
Care MacADNski: Our water is very warm because of the gulf stream but know some people swim every day.
The erosion makes some interesting features, Mary! A barefoot walk along the coastline is a pleasure smile
Care MacADNski: I think I have a few more weeks to squeeze another one in.
I enjoy a paddle
Care MacADNski: I am just understanding that paddle does not mean the same thing here and there.
two wonderful shots of the sandstone cliffs Mary... Penny and i had to learn the lesson the hard way when we were in a bay around on cliffs in
Cape Breton Island....petersmile
Care MacADNski: My land on the western part of the island is a bit scary. I do it only on the lowest tides possible.
