Instrumentally Yours

A tune that might have you dancing in your chair while you ponder this week's differences.

the b/w is excellent! i almost thought it was a night shot at first, Mary.
Care MacADNski: The dark is truly dark and the light is balanced. Worked somehow. Thanks.
It definitely did!
I like the high contrast of the B&W.... but I also really like the softness of the color image!
Care MacADNski: Staight OOC then straight conversion. Sometimes they work okay.

Well, it certainly helped me to wake up while I pondered, Mary. And black and white wins this time
Care MacADNski: The wake up came with a warning for a reason. Thanks, Ma'am.

This is a pleasing mono image
Care MacADNski: The white is well balanced but the black is blaaack!
I immediately saw the color version as a great jigsaw puzzle, Mary!
Care MacADNski: Check in in a couple of weeks for some jigsaw puzzle wannabes.

I think this time I go the colour, Mary. Love the white poles in the water and the sight of the grass and trees.
Care MacADNski: The autumn grasses are appealing at this time of year. it was a beauty of a day.
A lively tune for a Monday morning but it brightened up a dreary grey start to the day!
Care MacADNski: It came with a warning for a reason.

A bit lively for this time of morning. The top image is quite magical.
Care MacADNski: The wake up tune had a warning attached. The top worked well for some reason. A lot of landscapes do not.

The colouring is the main difference smile The sharply contrasted b&w stands out.
Care MacADNski: I am going to be having a new approach to b/w by using different software.
A fine shot although I prefer the colour version although I would have dialled a bit more depth of colour in if your software allows you to do so.
Care MacADNski: I don't alter anything when I do the b/w. I am going to use new software for it however. In colour I can make edits but rarely do.

I like the colour version better as there is more contrast in the old timbers and those grasses really glow.
Care MacADNski: I think the original could use something....
i like both images Mary... but the b&w one is a great abstract....petersmile
Care MacADNski: It is more abstract than not when you think of it.

The b&w image has a magical character.
Care MacADNski: The pre-set contrast is high in this program.
Nice treatment, Mary!
Care MacADNski: It is one button, Tom.
I echo Elizabeth's comments, both are good for different reasons! smile
Care MacADNski: The b/w is very stark so yup, colour is the resounding choice.

Color...give me color! Still useful, even if no longer fit for original purpose.
Care MacADNski: The b/w is very stark so yup, colour is the resounding choice.
