Monday Magic

From early October when the colour was lush and delicious.

The first two shots are of Lucy and the one with the inset is Purrl.

I loved this song in the 70's and had not heard or thought of it for many years.  While visiting my daughter I politely asked Google to play some 70's soul music.  I knew every word of this old song, it's been stuck in my head for weeks.... and here I am singing it again.

I love all the photos!!
And I love this song... I remember the Hall & Oats version - but hadn't before heard Mel & Tim.
Care MacADNski: Thanks, Ma'am. Mel & Tim's is the one in my memory. Here I am singing it again!
she looks just as black in both the shots smile
Care MacADNski: Ha ha. That's good. smile
Deux jolis chats noirs.
Care MacADNski: All three went out this morning for their first snow of the year.

It is great fun to observe Cats in the garden.
Care MacADNski: We had our first snow storm on Saturday. This morning was their first morning out in the snow. Purrl and Lucy were out about 15 minutes and Ruby for 30 minutes.

I like the mono of Purrl
Care MacADNski: That bit of branch above her is quite nice in the b/w. Thank you.
You and Elizabeth are kinda on the same page today, Mary. I suppose you called each other ahead of time? smile
Care MacADNski: Ha, ha. We sure both do like animals.

These are beautiful pictures of you cats, Mary and I love their names too.
Care MacADNski: Thank you. Lucy was named already when I inherited her. Ruby and Purrl, I will take that compliment. They are a couple of real gems smile
A black cat in b&w....well why not?
Care MacADNski: As Ayush said, she didn't change at all.

They look similar, are they related?
Care MacADNski: No, Purrl at the bottom, is Ruby's sister. Ruby is not in the photos. I inherited Lucy, th cat in the top photos after a client's death 16 months ago.
The inset looks just like a shadow.......some really interesting shots, Mary smile
Care MacADNski: I was doing some work there and all three cats were 'helping'. I did get shots of Ruby too.

The cat(s) tend to become just a bit more than a shadow in the b&w version.
Care MacADNski: They certainly don't change much but stand out more, I think.
The hunter smile
Care MacADNski: Absolutely right. The shots of Ruby the same day were my favorite, sitting in front of a tunnel the whole time the other two were 'helping me'.

Care MacADNski: I think that is very valid with the autumn colours.
