First Snow 2019

The shadow shows the true shape of this branch on an old apple tree.

These photos are from 02 December, after the first real snow.

Ok...
In fact I am a bit surprised there is enough shine to produce a shadow.
Care MacADNski: This is the next day and it was sunny and beautiful.
Joli jeu d'ombre. J'adore la neige mais il y en a rarement chez moi.
Care MacADNski: We have a maritime winter without a lot of snow but some years we get tonnes!

Interesting shapes and shadows

Bet the cats don't like this!
Care MacADNski: They don't mind winter too much I guess you rarely see my Saturday images. In winter I show the cats outdoors a lot. They don't like extreme cold or wind but rain or snow does not matter to them at all.
I just love the video!!

The pictures are good too
Care MacADNski: Cool video isn't it. The snow is all gone now.

Like a creepy sort of ha d.
Care MacADNski: Oh yes, it does! The tree is badly damaged and will have to go in the next few years.
That snow looks great but I'm glad we don't get it like that where we live, presumably you get used to it. The video is great, I might download it to use when I go out to give audio/visual presentations to local groups.
Care MacADNski: It only bothers me when I have to drive somewhere. Cleaning off cars and shoveling to get to it are not work for an old woman.
So much to see in shadows on snow Mary, well seen and captured.
Care MacADNski: I love working with snow shadows a great deal.

so lovely
Care MacADNski: Long gone now but that first snow is always beautiful.
