Dommage pour les déchets...
Care MacADNski: The water washes lots of garbage in.
You cant beat time spent beach combing....smile
Care MacADNski: Especially since it can't happen year round.
Great treasures! And oh, that red mud!
Fun music - had my toes tapping!
Care MacADNski: I was just dancing along too and singing to Purrl. Red mud is some mothers' nightmare. Secret: not mine.
lots of stuff to keep one focussed on the ground, Mary.
Care MacADNski: Sometimes at the beach I have to remind myself to look up to the water and sky. I am very focused on the rocks.

A further reminder that we live in very different environments, Care.
Care MacADNski: I live in a different environment that that today too. Six inches of white already cover the ground and we are expecting a storm today. School is cancelled. Beach time is precious.

Beachcombing is great fun
Care MacADNski: This one has a current that washes driftwood into. Strange but compelling beach.

Your red beaches fascinate me, too, Care
Care MacADNski: This one has a current that washes driftwood into. Strange but compelling beach. I remember showing photos that some said, of an ugly beach. Interesting and different.
Something for everyone if you look long and hard enough, Care, right?! smile
Care MacADNski: This was an extremely interesting beach - a driftwood graveyard.

Your finds are wonderful, Care. That colour red is beautiful. I know it can be a nuisance too. Did you find that mermaid too wink...
Care MacADNski: That mermaid is special. She is carrying someone new to be.
You found a leg with handprints? Gosh grin
Care MacADNski: Someone else found her first.

Interesting finds but I see something that you see in old cave paintings...a hand print.
Care MacADNski: Explorers were indeed here before.

Haha - I especially like the shell (?) on the first picture! Wonderful finds and observations!
You are lucky to have a beach quite close to you, no doubt you find all sorts of shots like these as you wander about.

Shame about all the debris that ends up in the sea and eventually washed up on the shore.
The beach: what a great place to explore!

The most interesting find is the adult leg with child hand prints on it.
I can't figure out what the first one is!
