Beautiful!

I cannot get these lovely things to grow in my garden. sad
Care MacADNski: They are the very first seeds planted outdoors. They need a cold start and can be planted early. Perhaps you could start them in a refrigerator. I used to force tulips in pots that way before we got a tulip facility down the road.

Beautiful both ways but I think I like the color version best. It is quite cheerful this time of year.
Care MacADNski: I love looking at the flowers in winter too. Thanks.
wonderful shot and i like the fine focus on the petals and the stem.
Care MacADNski: My large aperture settings do that one thing well.
Très joli. J'aime la couleur de ces pois de senteur.
Care MacADNski: I love the smell.smile
Great detail Care.
Care MacADNski: Works sometimes with my large aperture but not always.
This is beautiful in both it's carnations...
I really like Amos Lee - this is a good one!
Care MacADNski: My kids and grandkids know this song and am sure all associates sweet peas as home.

Like Ray, I cannot grow these for some reason - even in pots. Yours are delightful

You had me at the B&W, Care. WOW.
Care MacADNski: I am glad you like it, my dear.

Very nice too, lovely hues
Care MacADNski: The smell, being so wonderful, comes to mind first.

Your contrasting pictures side by side Care, or one above the other rather, show clearly how b&w allows one to focus on the form.
Care MacADNski: I like doing it like this though some people don't like the showing of both as it takes away any mystery. It works for me.

Great shot of a lovely flower.
Care MacADNski: They are among the best smelling flowers of all time.
Ah wonderful detail Care smile
Care MacADNski: I wish I could add some of the exquisite odour.
I like bothimages care but this time the colour one is my preference.
Care MacADNski: They each portray a different feeling for sure.

These are so delightful little flowers, Care. Both images are just wonderful.
both images of the Sweet Pea flower has it's own character Care... the b&w has sharper details where as the coloured one makes it seem softer....petersmile
