Music for Shovelling

I had just gone out to shovel....

First photo of session, no focus.

In editing, Auto button pressed which brightened.

Second photo moments later but focussed.

No auto, straight from camera.

Main shot of collage contains sooc edition of leading shot.

It does not matter at all...
Care MacADNski: I an not often happy with what the auto button produces but I really liked this one.
I was stopped in my tracks yesterday listening to a flock of Geese pass by...I love that sound, nice pic's Care.
Care MacADNski: I am so close to the bay that I see or hear geese every day most of the year. For many years Orwell Bay was a sanctuary but it is not needed anymore. There are katrillions of geese in the world now.
Joli vol d'oiseaux.
Care MacADNski: Their sound is always a pleasure.

It's nice to experiment
Care MacADNski: This was not an experiment but a happy accident. I just pointed and shot without touching the focus. The rest are supposed to focus on the birds. It was all a matter of seconds
The second shot works best for me Care
Care MacADNski: Yes, it was in focus. The first was focussed on the snow.

What fascinates me is how the leader is chosen, or just happens.
Care MacADNski: When the leader tires it goes to the back and the closest moves in. The rear holds the tired and weakest. They are given the advantage of being carried a bit by the other’s aerodynamics.
I know you had no choice in the matter but the formation of the birds in thes econd image works best of all the shots.
Care MacADNski: It is in focus as well. That helps a lot.
