Sunday Skies with More

On a visit to the ski hill with my daughter and her family, I was astounded by the beauty of Mother Nature's icy treatment of the trees along the way. I was giddy with excitement at the thought of being atop a mountain filled with this.

These pictures were snapped through the windows of a moving vehicle and I am glad I took them as on top of the mountains the precipitation had fallen as snow, with no ice in sight. These are straight out of the camera.

Yes...wonderful stuff, and the images need no work.
Care MacADNski: I think the edges of the car windows have to go.
Tu as bien fait de prendre ces photos, c'est magnifique.
Care MacADNski: They went to Quebec to ski this weekend.
indeed two wonderful shots, Care.
Care MacADNski: Thank you. They need a bit of cropping to remove the window frame.

It certainly looks dramatic out there
Care MacADNski: I think the exposure was a bit low, certainly accentuating the drama.
A fine sight Care....no tinkering required
Care MacADNski: The edge of the window is seen on the bottoms.
Two beautiful pictures, the light on the trees is lovely.
Care MacADNski: It was even prettier in person. it was at the right exposure. Ha ha.

I especially like the light on #2. Beautiful atmosphere here!
Care MacADNski: They are a bit underexposed but that adds to the drama I would say.
