Dreamscapes

Plenty of wildlife use the pond as a source of drinking water. Above shows the result of a very cold night with new ice forming overnight.

During bouts of delerium during my recent influenza, I thought I dreamed a racoon walking then running on the pond. Imagine my surprise when that one dream turned out to be true. Other dreams were delerium based and my fevered brain caused some pretty strange concepts and ideas. I dreamed all my teeth fell out for one. Terrifying things!

Jolie photo, j'aime les différentes nuances de bleu.
Care MacADNski: Early morning is very pretty - the blue hour.
I really like your photos - especially the racoon!
I'm so glad your addled brain has made a full recovery!
Beautiful voice.
Care MacADNski: I can hardly remember the dreams but told my daughter about them so she remembers all the funny things I recounted.
that is quite a sight you saw and a terrific effort to capture it, Care. that is quite a nightmare.
Care MacADNski: I had many nightmares during this delirium. What a siege.

Dreams can be very frightening, especially when one is ill, Care. Strange about the racoon
Care MacADNski: It was real but I had thought it was a dream. What a time!

Well I sincerely hope you've recovered now Mary. It all sounds quite terrifying!
Care MacADNski: I am still coughing and am quite easily fatigued still. The worst is certainly over. It really was terrifying.
So sorry to hear you had a bad bout of the flu, Care, but glad to know some of your dreams were simply that...dreams!
Care MacADNski: Oh, yes, the worst dream was that my granddaughter was missing. It was terrifying. This flu has made it's rounds in my circles.
You have clearly had a nasty bout of flue Care!
Care MacADNski: It seems that quite a few of the community have come down with this flu, the whole province really.

This makes a rather pleasing dreamy image Care. I’m glad you recovered from the influenza and hope you don’t pick up the next thing doing the rounds.
Care MacADNski: This flu became very wide-spread rather quickly and the whole island is dealing with it one way or the other. Thank goodness it is not the corona virus.

I like the light play in the top picture - excellent.
Care MacADNski: That is unedited but the bottom shot is lightened a great deal (auto button).

I can empathise with your delirium-based dreams; I had some really terrifying visions when I was suffering with pneumonia last May.
