Très jolis ces arbres blancs.
Care MacADNski: There is always something exciting about the first snow.

Both versions work beautifully for me, Care.
Care MacADNski: The first snow of the year is always special.
The first image reminds me of an infrared photo, Care. It's most striking.
Care MacADNski: It turned out well. The original has great natural contrast - the first snow of the year.

This is beautiful, Care. BOTH are.
Very decorative too.
Care MacADNski: The first snow of the year. I left for work early and stopped for a walk in the park because I had time to spare. Glad I did.

They look like two friends or twins even.
Care MacADNski: I would imagine they were planted at the same time.
Very eye catching, Care! smile
Care MacADNski: One of those city view - from a park.
This really works as a B.& W.image, very much infrared style as Ginnie suggests.
Care MacADNski: Yes, it becomes quite striking. I like it too.
The branches in both images look as if they are ice covered, Care.
Your rework is very well done.
Care MacADNski: This was from the first snow, four or five November’s ago. I left for work early in case the traffic backed up but arrived early enough to go for a walk in a park before work. The first snow is always so pretty.

Oh, very good. I've no experience of infrared photography but it looks just like that, I believe.
Care MacADNski: It is truly just b/w.

What a find. Such an enormous blank brick wall. Excellent as contraster. Both versions are earnig the same points in my book.
Care MacADNski: It was so pretty that morning smile

Care MacADNski: They were well behaved and keeping their distance.
I love the B&W version!
