First Find

I really like this big rock and hope to get it home.

I took photos, flipping it around to take every side.

One of my companions asked me to take a shot of the dog head beside it.

You might think this is a small stome but the last photo tells the true story.

Jolis galets. C'est vrai qu'on dirait une tête de chien.
Care MacADNski: It really does. It is quite fragile.
Ooo, get in trouble for that back home Care...Something I would never do smile
Care MacADNski: It is fine to pick rocks here but not in the National Park.
Welp... good luck with that one!! smile
Care MacADNski: There are two ways to do it, the easier one on the body, by boat.

That dog head is amazing!
Care MacADNski: It was very fragile and might be different the next time I am there.

It is a truly lovely stone. How will you move it, Care?
Care MacADNski: I would say a boat but my son is very, very busy and truly has no time. I can carry it a bit, closer to the road every time I am there.

What an amazing find.
Care MacADNski: I know! I bring home rocks - lots of them.
It is a terrific stone isn't it. I suppose you wouldn't be able to parcel it up and post it over to Maureen and me, it would look great in our garden smile smile
Care MacADNski: I have not been back. It may be in pieces by now.
How far would you have to carry it to get it home?
Care MacADNski: The road to the beach is not accessible by car so a long way. A boat would be easier.

Fascinating with the contrasting colours. I think its best left on the beach for others to enjoy.
Care MacADNski: By a week, the tides will smash it to bits. Better to take it to save in this cove.
That's certainly a biggie!
Care MacADNski: So deceiving when I saw the photos so I had to have a person to explain the size.
