Foxy and Purrl

Upon hearing one of the foxes barking, I went to investigate and found Purrl barring the driveway as to not allow foxy to pass by. I had to intervene and the following pictures are of the defeated-looking fox looking back at big, fluffy Purrl.

Confrontation well captured Care !
Care MacADNski: Oh, the animal stories. This morning major skunk damage but no cats involved.
Oh that Purrl! She is larger than life! Love this series of photos!

And I enjoyed the video... we just watched "Rocket Man" a few weeks ago!
Care MacADNski: Purrl was very proud. Foxy had no voles to take away this time but perhaps had a fill her/himself.

Poor fox...I wouldn't argue with fluffed up Purrl if I were you!
Care MacADNski: I still have no idea the sex of any of the foxes but this one has taken voles away in its mouth. I worry a bit about a fox becoming aggressive so am glad she did this.
Purrl is a bit too fearless for her own good!
Care MacADNski: That is what I am afraid of. Rubyisin detention after not coming in for two nights.

We had an elderly at once that was grabbed by a fox. We heard the yelp and rushed outside to see the fox run away leaving the cat traumatised. We picked it up and took it inside where she suddenly had diarrhoea. She did not live much longer and I wondered whether the fox sensed death about this cat.
Care MacADNski: I have photos of a fox about to pounce on old Kenz who was washing, unbeknownst. This has been my biggest fear then two weeks ago the fox was lying on her back, showing its belly with Ruby. I am proud? Of Purrl but no less frightened of a fox fight.

Wow! I would have thought the fox would be too much for one cat! Impressive set of images here, Care.
Care MacADNski: It frightened me but I took Purrl out of the foxes path. She was very proud.
Either your cat is a real frightener or this Fox is very timid.
