Robin in Blossoms

Lupins cover the roadsides of PEI in June.

They also grow along a bank on my property.

Last year I heard this man's voice and he was playing in town that night. I loved his voice. I gathered a few friends and went to a small bar.  Turns out that kids (men) that I had known since birth were his band. I played some of his songs foe a few days after that.

Here is a new single and associated video from Adyn Townes. The second video is the Corona home version with said local kid on all instruments.

Joli oiseau dans son arbre fleuri. Les lupins sont très beaux.

They are very attractive
Care MacADNski: Only shadows left of them.
I really love those Lupines! The color variety is so special!
I remember you introducing us to Adyn. This is a rather haunting tune- and the dancing is mesmerizing!
Care MacADNski: He has such an unusual voice and that always interests me. The dance really is good. It is rose and lily season now! The vases are full.
Your lupins are magnificent, Care. I didn't grow up with them but see them ever so often here in Europe.
Care MacADNski: They need a freeze cycle in winter so grow only in those places.

What great pictures you show here, Care. The lupines are a joy to see (and to capture I think)
I believe that is an apple tree?? Is it yours and does it give good fruit?
Care MacADNski: Yes, this is one of my apple trees. They are ancient but still producing. I lost two from last autumn's hurricane Dorian.

Of course they will always be associated with Monty Python in my mind, when they did their Robin Hood sketch.
Care MacADNski: Ha, ha. Hadn't thought of that.
Every year I suffer lupin envy Care!
Care MacADNski: I could send you seeds but they would likely produce only the first year.
Your Robins are very different to ours, they look bigger. Your collage of Lupins is another fine selection to look at.
Care MacADNski: Our robins are larger than yours. Funny they even have the same name, though ours is called the American robin. The lupins were lovely this year.

I remember your comment about the likeness of the American Robin to the Cape Rock Jumper - and yes, I see it. Lupin collage celebrates summer. Adyn has a good voice indeed.
Care MacADNski: His voice is unusual and I so like unusual voices! I am glad you see the similarity with the robin. Ours is not at all like the English robin.
More super shots Care, Lupins are so nice.
Care MacADNski: The tourists flock to see the lupins.
