A cooling shorebreak.
Care MacADNski: I was absent yesterday due to a beautiful day at the beach. it was wonderful!
Such beautiful water... much nicer than sweat! smile
And a lovely, lovely song!
Care MacADNski: I spent yesterday on a north shore beach with colder water. Today, back here on the bathtub temperature of the south shore.

I can identify with this
Care MacADNski: My gardens are dead and crops in this area are in big trouble. There is no rain in the forecast.

Not a pleasant thought, Care. I can just imagine ehow refreshing that seawater would be. Even I have ventured into the sea this year; albeit just up to my knees.
Care MacADNski: I spent yesterday on a National Park beach that was several degrees colder than my usual south shore beaches. it was glorious! Today, back to the south shore bath water.
J'aime les photos de la mer.
Us, too, Care. We're in the hottest heatwave ever recorded in the Netherlands right now, with at least 5 days in a row of 35°C or higher. It's really not fun, especially in a country where most homes do NOT have A/C.
Care MacADNski: My garden is basically dead and crops in the area are doing poorly. This is our third year in a row for drought but never this unending high heat.

I would take a chair, Care and put that in the water and sit down and read a book and do nothing.... like we.. I think I am not allowed to sit in our little pond (with fish) her in the courtyard grin....
Hang in there....
Care MacADNski: I thought of that yesterday as others were doing but stayed with my group. We spent most of our time in the water.
I would love to be floating in the sea right now!
Care MacADNski: It has been a wonderful summer for doing just that.

So far our winter has had a few cold spikes, but nothing like weeks long spells, as in my youth. Currently a mild weather that is starting to hint of an early spring.
Care MacADNski: The planet is warming super fast here. A large ice sheet has melted in the Arctic this summer.

The sea, oh the sea is the gradh geal mo croide
Long may it stay between England and me
It's a sure guarantee that some hour we'll be free
Oh thank God we're surrounded by water

An Irish song.
Care MacADNski: Thank God we are surrounded by water! I can’t get enough.
Unlike a few days ago it is so warm here now I would love a dip in that sea.
Care MacADNski: I went to the National Park yesterday. It’s northern water is colder than ours on the south shore. it was Refreshing!
Sweat indeed today.
Care MacADNski: I have not been dry in months!
Same here, but no sea ! B.S.& T..I remember buying their first album .
Care MacADNski: I would die in this heat without water. I had that first album. David Clayton Thomas is still recording, at least a couple years ago anyway.
