West Cape 2020

I purchased land in 1974 on the western end of the island two years before I moved to PEI. I visit every couple of years and remember why I still have it. Two friends came with me and we did not see another person on the beach.  We went around each point to different beaches, each one unique.

I would love to take a walk there!
Care MacADNski: Hopefully the border will be open by next summer. Then, come on up.
Jolies photos de cette plage.
Care MacADNski: It is a lovely place to swim and relax.
Lucky you!!! I'm so glad you get to go visit this lovely stretch of beach, Care!
I enjoyed your happy dance - and the little bumble bee girl! That song always gets my toes tapping! smile
Care MacADNski: It is always a pleasure to return. I spent lots of time there before I moved permanantly. Funny old video, eh?
Big ole land owner you ! smile Nice to have your own beaches Care.
Care MacADNski: I was at the local beach this week and thinking how wonderful it is to be able to walk to a beach! Again, not another soul in sight.

Not everyone can make that sort of boast!
Care MacADNski: It is part of my retirement funds and I will be selling it soon enough.

Second pic is much better than the first, Care.

And...Don't wave your leg at me in that tone of voice!
Care MacADNski: One in each direction. I took lots! What?!? You don't like my happy dance! I couldn't do that so many months ago.
Magnifique tout simplement !!
Care MacADNski: It is a lovely beach.
Your own beach eh? Can't be bad

My daughter Kathryn used to like Blind Melon and I remember her playing this one
Care MacADNski: It was close to come on vacation. I lived in Saint John, New Brunswick, which is known for it's fogginess. I had a five day stretch off every three weeks and headed to the island for some sunshine.

This is just amazing, Care and what a treasure to have. I love beaches and the way you can walk for miles and miles.....
Great pictures.
Care MacADNski: It was the answer to living in a foggy city. PEI was the place to find sunshine and the western end of the island was close.

This picture is a fine composition. The beach looks so lonely.
Care MacADNski: Not many people use it. I think there are only two year-round homes on the lots and only a couple of seasonal cottages. Most is like my own and undeveloped.
Oh to have your own patch, it must me very nice as long as there are not too many maintenance responsibilities attached
Care MacADNski: No maintenance whatsoever. The person next to my land mows some of mine for his own convenience with my permission.
How we would like to come and walk your own private beach with you.
Care MacADNski: It is different than my local beach. The cliffs are similar but the rock on this beach are pebbles and sand whereas the local one in my community has larger rocks and sand.

Any time, Brian and Maureen. I would love to have you.
two beautiful pictures of the beach left to right on a bright day with superb fluffy clouds in a blue sky Care...
i love your selfie dance on the sand...
here's looking at you....petersmile
Care MacADNski: I have shown this beach here before - every time I have visited since we began here. Some of my first photos here are of West Cape.
So - what's the plan? Building a house there?
Care MacADNski: No, I will be selling it in the next year or so.

Wow.. so is all this your property then, Care?
Care MacADNski: The beach is a common beach for 16 or so lots, most of them like mine and undeveloped.
