Take Care

When the tide is low, you can easily walk around these rocks.

With the high tide, you have to be careful.

What a beautiful study of the dancing shore break and its rocky partners!
Care MacADNski: The blue is strange but I guess it is the blue the iphone gave me.

Lovely composition.
Care MacADNski: I had to be right in there.
Very careful ! Or stay away Care.
Care MacADNski: With the lower tide an hour later we could walk around easily .
Jolies photos, j'aime le mouvement de l'eau.
Care MacADNski: It felt good to be in it.
Yes be careful! Lovely water shots & lovely music!

If your tides are like ours, then definitely..
Care MacADNski: We were ar the beach yesterday but the tide was too high to get atound some rocks something like seen here.
As long as the high tide doesn't take Care, I'm a happy camper to see this! smile
Care MacADNski: The tide was getting lower so we could walk anywhere easily. I had to be a bit dramatic and go beforehand.

That are the dangers of the sea, Care and I can almost hear the waves against the rocks, two beautiful pictures.
Care MacADNski: It was a great day and the tide was receding so we were fine.
It pays to consult the tide tables
Care MacADNski: I have already looked at them today. I have a beach buddy coming out for the day. I check them every day, like the obituaries. smile

They can be slippery to walk over in bare feet.
Care MacADNski: That is the danger. They have a green fur of seaweed algae over them. They are extremely slippery. The point was passable an hour later.

Would that be, because the stones get slippery when wet? Or are there toe-chewing critters? Whatever, this is exceptionally calm seas.
Care MacADNski: Yes, very slippery when wet. They are covered in green sea algae which is extremely slippery.
I am really enjoying both these shots Care, the close up has so much action and detail and I like the big expanse of water in the lower shot.
Care MacADNski: I had my feet in the water but did not go in for a swim yesterday.

I would imagine that they are very slippery.
Care MacADNski: Very slippery. I am very careful.
very good advice Care... we were on Cape Breton Inland in a cove along the shore listing to the singing of the pebbles as the tide tide washed over them...
when we looked at the cliff that we went around to this little beach... the tide came in and the water was at our ankles to get out of there... that was a good thing....petersmile
Care MacADNski: knowing the locale is important when it comes to tides. Anything along the Bay of Fundy requires true knowledge with the tidal bore.

Care MacADNski: Oh yes. Rocks in a tidal zone are usually slippery.

I understand - the shades of blue are wonderful!
Care MacADNski: From the iPad. It is an unusual blue. No editing of course.
