There is a remarkable difference between the outside and the inside Mary.
Mary MacADNski: Exactly. Seeing is believing.
Great photos of this poor old boat... I especially like the top one!
I wasn't sure where the music was going in the first few seconds... but then... !
Mary MacADNski: The music is from the fellow who was a former 'bad boy' by CDN standards. smile

Laid up for winter I guess..
Mary MacADNski: With obviously no intention of use this year.
No wonder it's in dry dock, Mary! WOW.
Mary MacADNski: All boats come out of the water here but seeing the condition of this was amazing.

It looks better when seen this way. Now I can see that it hads fallen from its support.
Mary MacADNski: The first was from the day I took the shot. This went through cropping and such.

It looks as if it has been well maintained.

The second picture shows otherwise.
Mary MacADNski: Yes, the inside is totally rotted.

Wow, Mary, I would never know that that is just a long boat lying there.... by the look of it, that is the last resting place for her.... I love your front picture.
Mary MacADNski: She needs some major work.
From the front it looks in good condition.
Mary MacADNski: Hopefully the hull is sound.

Oh, it saw some better days!
Mary MacADNski: I hope it can be repaired.
The boats look like the residue of a hurricane!
Mary MacADNski: Heavy winds here sometime but I dod't think that is the case. It has fallen to the north.

In that front shot, one would not suspect the decay that is visible in the side shot. That front shot is a great one.
Mary MacADNski: Thanks, Louis. I had a shot up the same day I had it that did not tell the whole story.
It's going to take a lot of brute strength to put it upright again, Mary.
Mary MacADNski: I hope it is salvageable.
It looks really good from the front, perhaps there is hope for it yet.
Mary MacADNski: I hope it is salvageable.

boats on dry land always makes me sad
Mary MacADNski: All boats are taken out of the water here for the winter. Ice would damage them, so it is not an unusual sight here.

An attention grabber!
Mary MacADNski: Sure was! It is about 4 km from here.
