Very sad isn't it
This was once a home filled with laughter perhaps and sometimes tears.
Care MacADNski: It was the doctor's home - and office, so you have it right on!

Well it might save some demolition costs.
Care MacADNski: Absolutely! smile
It's so sad to this house slowly falling to bits.

sad images. some new owners had a lovely cottage home from the 1930's demolished on our street yesterday so they can build a new home that won't compliment our historic district.

love the song by Patti Griffin. it's in our hymnal at church and one i can sing and play with no music. Patti is one of my favorite singer/songwriters.

nice combination in your post
Care MacADNski: I had a friend who died about 8 years ago. She could sing any Patti Griffin song so beautifully. I can't hear Patti without an instantaneous tear. Sorry about you streetscape problem. It is a battle in historical districts unless there are bylaws.

What a decay! I wonder that the windows have still their glasses. It is a sad sight!
Care MacADNski: I want some of that 200 year old glass as it matches the glass in my house. All the glass I have replaced is modern glass because this type of glass is no longer available.

Going,.. going.... iIt will take more than a lick of paint to make that look good again. Such a shame.
Woo - that's serious destruction!
