Glorious decay!
Care MacADNski: I would love to have steel soled boots, a good camera and a couple of hours.

It always hurt a little to see boats like this, Care. But you took some great pictures.
I went on the road next to the graveyard.....lots to see.
Care MacADNski: We stopped at an old graveyard the last stop before this, further down the coast.
As we like to say, a photographer's paradise, Care!
Care MacADNski: It certainly would be. I would love to go back and will when I get a new camera.

Poor Penny Lane III
Care MacADNski: She probably had a long, hard life.
Is there a Penny Lane 4 I wonder?
Care MacADNski: Makes you wonder.

It doesn’t look beyond restoration.
Care MacADNski: The engine may already be gone, so torn up in that manner. These boats are salvaged for engines and things like that.

There might be a story behind this abandoned boat.
Similar to Alan's shot today, but I guess his boat is still working.

Once loved by someone, I'm sure. I wonder what happened to "Penny Lane I" and "Penny Lane II"?

It caught one prawn too many. One of the weird things in life. People are allowed to leave their boats all over the place. But your car must be scrapped.

I like that top picture.
The owner must have been a Beatles fan smile
good find for Friday Care... i think that this one was built when Penny Lane was famous... she wasn't cared for over the years....petersmile
